A man has been arrested in connection to the murder of Churchill man Seamus Doherty.
Mr Doherty, 67, was found dead at his home at Drumacanoo, Churchill on June 17th, 2012.
An autopsy later showed that Mr Doherty had died in suspicious circumstances and a murder investigation was launched.
A number of people were arrested in relation to the death but nobody has ever been charged.
Last night Gardaí at Milford arrested a 52 year old man in connection with the death.
The man was arrested in the Raphoe area and is expected to appear before Buncrana District Court today.
Investigations are continuing.
