A young Donegal entrepreneur is feeling the ‘Force’ after being swamped with requests for his custom-made Star Wars t-shirts.

Niall McLaughlin, a graphic designer based in Carndonagh, has been working on the shirts for two months.

And his quirky local take on the Hollywood blockbuster has meant his designs are selling like hot-cakes.

He is even planning on presenting some of the stars of the film with their own customised shirts.

Niall said “There’s such a great buzz about the place and I have been flat out making the t-shirts for the past few weeks.

“I thought it would be funny to put a local slant on the shirts and people are reacting really well to it. It’s great for the area.

“I think the area will feel the benefit from the filming for many years to come but especially around the time when the film comes out.

“I have never seen Malin Head so busy and with the good weather, you just couldn’t get a better place to be.

“I’m getting great reaction to the t-shirts and I have just finished delivering a box to the Seaview Tavern in Malin Head who are selling them for me. The Force is strong at the moment,” he laughed.

Niall can deliver the shirts to anywhere and all his designs can be viewed on his website www.puresavage.ie
