Top Donegal model shares happy baby news

International model and businesswoman Faye Dinsmore and Web Summit founder Paddy Cosgrave have welcomed their first child.

The Donegal-born beauty posted a photo of her little one on Instagram yesterday. Her tech giant husband also posted a touching photo and Facebook status from Dublin saying: “I’m a dad. Faye is a mum. We are so, so happy.”

Faye, aged 28, comes from a family of 14 in Ballintra. Following a successful career on the catwalks of London, Paris and major world cities, she has focused her enterprising and creative outlets as the co-founder of The Cat and The Fox Shop, making Donegal-produced Aran knitted jumpers.

Faye married Paddy, aged 33, in May this year. The couple first met at Trinity College Dublin, when Faye was a student of French and Classics at Trinity College and international model.

It’s not yet known whether the baby’s first Christmas will be at Faye’s homeland in Donegal, as she has spoken out in past years about the internet connection up here!

Paddy’s hugely popular Web Summit will be held in Lisbon, Portugal this November, but with Faye’s local business here, the young family will no doubt stay connected to her home.
