Job Vacancy: Well-established building products supplier seeks National Sales Manager

JOB VACANCY: North West Aluminium is one of the largest manufacturer and distributors of Roofing and Ventilation products in Ireland & the UK.

As part of their continued growth, they are currently seeking an internal based National Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales within Ireland and N. Ireland.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Irish client base, field sales representatives and will report directly to the Sales Director. For this role the key priority is to drive growth through growing existing customers & gaining new customers in the ROI & NI. Occasionally you will be required to travel to the UK to help with sales operations such as trade shows and exhibitions.

Based at Head Office in Kilmacrenan, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal 70% of the time and 30% travelling throughout Ireland meeting with clients and managing the field sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and increasing sales.
  • Work with marketing team to ensure consistent lead generation.
  • Managing leads generated.
  • Managing the company’s key client base.
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base.
  • Servicing the needs of your existing customers.
  • Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market.
  • Recruiting and training sales staff. 
  • Developing sales strategies and setting targets.
  • Monitoring your team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets.
  • Collecting customer feedback and market research.
  • Reporting to managing director.
  • Keeping up to date with products, industry news and competitors.
  • Maintaining and updating company CRM system.

 

Qualifications/Profile

  • Three to five years in a sales based role; within industry preferred.
  • People orientated extrovert with pro-active characteristics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate (MS Office, Outlook, CRM, PC fundamentals).
  • Ability to train and explain technical concepts.
  • Desire to contribute to the goals and efforts of the organisation.
  • Hardworking, persistent, and dependable.

 

Salary is negotiable, depending on experience.
