There was a big celebration to launch Seachtain Na Gaeilge in County Donegal in Leabharlann Phobail na Rosann, Dungloe on Tuesday the 28th of February.

Cathaoirleach Cllr. Terence Slowey launched the festival programme for Donegal, which will take place from 1 – 17 March 2017. Seachtain na Gaeilge 2017 promises to be another great celebration of Irish language and culture not only in Donegal but throughout the country and throughout the world.

Those attending the launch of this year’s Seachtain na Gaeilge in Leabharlann na Rosann in Dungloe on Tuesday morning were treated to a choir and traditional Irish dancing performance from the children of Scoil Chróine, Dungloe.

A wide range of events is planned for Donegal during the festival.  Find out what’s on by picking up a programme in any of your local libraries or Council offices or visit www.donegalcoco.ie
