A Letterkenny woman has been given the Probation Act for stealing a powerwasher lance from a local car wash.
Valrie McDonagh appeared at Letterkenny District Court today and pleaded guilty to the theft.
The court heard how at 9.50pm on June 25th last, Ms McDonagh entered the powerwash centre at Tobin’s Service Station in Letterkenny and stole the item.
She was later caught on CCTV stealing the item worth €60.
The court was told that McDonagh, of 2 Canal Road, had four previous convictions for theft.
Judge Paul Kelly applied the Probation Act.
