Damian Gallagher aims for three-in-a-row at Otway Golf Club on Sunday

The Sunday Open Turkey Scrambles at Otway are attracting a nice group of competitive individuals every Sunday as the weather conditions have stayed relatively mild so far, and long may it continue.

While the Gallagher name is fairly common on the podium at Otway, it’s one Gallagher from the Saltpans who has appeared in the winners enclosure the last two weeks.

Damian will be looking to ride his run of good fortune and try for three in a row this coming Sunday, having won with the aid of Peter Friel and Paddy Kelly on Sunday 12th (with the help of an eagle iron at the third by Peter), and in the company of Pat McNulty and Charlie Patton last Sunday.

Opportunities to bag the festive bird are running out, so get your name in to the draw by 11.45 this Sunday for a 12 noon tee off, tel 9158319, or call down to the game of 25 at 7pm on Wednesday evening if the clubs are not working, or if you don’t get partnered with Damian this week!
