There were some great scores returned last weekend in the Mini-League and the greensomes format definitely suited a lot of the pairings.
None more than the pairing of Sean McMenamin (16) & Martin McLaughlin (20) who shot a tremendous round of 2 over par to amass a stupendous score of 52 pts.
This score set all records for a score returned by a pairing and if Sean and Martin can maintain this type of performance they will be formidable opposition for any pairing in the match play knock out stages.
This weekend Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th will be the last round of qualifying and the format once again will be greensomes. This will be the last chance to return a qualifying score so pairings can play any day of their choice and if the weather doesn’t permit play at the weekend the scores returned to date will be used to determine the qualifiers.
Membership
Annual membership is now due for renewal and there is also availability for new members, rates as follows – Male €333.00, Lady €232.00, Male Beginner €260.00, Lady Beginner €190.00.

The committee would like to take this opportunity to remind members that the paying by instalment facility is now available until March 1st 2018 and all membership fees have to be paid in full after this date.

“The Find the Joker” is up and running again with a Jackpot of €450.00, lines only cost €2 each and this draw is open to members and non-members alike. Lines can be purchased in the clubhouse or through chief seller Oliver Doherty.
