Letterkenny Shopping Centre is celebrating a prosperous year as they reach full occupancy and welcome a 12% increase in footfall.

The shopping hub now serves over 70,000 weekly shoppers across 104,000 sq. ft. of prime retail space.

Lettings totalling 6,150 sq. ft. has resulted in Letterkenny Shopping Centre being fully let.

The centre has become a principal shopping destination in the North West with anchor tenants Tesco and Penneys and a further 40 other retailers including DV8, Costa Coffee, Pamela Scott, Argento, Euro Giant and Eason to name but a few.

The accessibility and convenience for customers are second to none, with 660 free surface level car parking spaces.

The scheme continues to deliver an enhanced offer and customer experience for over 70,000 weekly shoppers,
representing an increase in footfall of 12% in the last year.

The adjacent bus depot further connects the Centre to its 200,000 strong catchment and beyond.

The Shopping Centre is the largest in Co. Donegal and one of six regional Shopping Centres in the Harcourt Development retail portfolio located throughout Ireland, with a combined area of over 1,000,000 sq. ft. and over 300 occupiers.

Ed McCulloch, Senior Property Management Surveyor, Harcourt Developments said:

“We are delighted to report a fully let position in Letterkenny Shopping Centre.

“Overall economic performance has had a positive impact on retail spending and sentiment.

“In the Harcourt retail portfolio this is evident through the retention of existing occupiers and increased demand from new entrants for retail space.

“With continued support to many local charities and the introduction of community rooms, play zones and periodic mall entertainment and promotions, we continue to reinforce each centre’s commitment to the community.”
