Letterkenny Golf: Another action-packed weekend of golf in Letterkenny

There was another busy weekend of Golf action at the Letterkenny Golf Club with the Wednesday Open and an action-packed weekend. 

Dessie Ferry won the Wednesday Open (November 14) with a good score of 36 pts, securing a birdie on the 7th along with 7 pars.

Our honorary secretary Ed Margey (12.3) was second with 35 pts and Oisin McAviney (12.7) was third with 34 pts.

There was a big turnout for the Saturday Open last weekend, with Patrick McGowan (11.5) the winner with 39 pts. (BOT).
Patrick had two birdies on 5th and on the 11th and held for 7 pars.
Michael O’Malley (14.1) took second place with 39 pts. and Cathal Sheridan (20.3) took third place with 38 pts.
The Members Competition on Sunday, November 18 also had a big turnout. Michael Boyd (16.1) was the winner with 39 pts.  Boyd had one birdie and six pars, while Gary Loveridge (11.3) came second with 38 pts and Enda Mannion (12.3) was third with 37 pts.
The cards are now in full swing every Wednesday night starting at 8pm and the quiz commences at 10pm every Friday night.
