JOHN Murphy is in super form winning two Sunday Competitions in a row at Cloughaneely Golf Club.
John shot 44 points last Sunday and he’ll be a man to watch out for in 2020.
Manus McClafferty was second on 40 points with Gerry Doohan third on 39 points. This weekend is a Singles Stableford play Saturday or Sunday.
The 2020 Captains Drive-In for Chris McCallion and President Denis Coyle is scheduled to take place on Sunday 9th February with the draw at 9.45am.
Cloughaneely recently welcomed new members to the club and there is great interest in beginner membership.
This Saturday 1st February, the new golf lessons begin: Ladies from 11am-12pm and gents 12-1pm. Some members are volunteering to help with these lessons.
