GERRY Doohan was the winner of Sunday’s competition at Cloughaneely Golf Club with a steady round of 36 points.
Some other golfers had good scores but forgot about the ‘winter’ cuts.
The Captain and Presidents Drive-In is this Sunday 9th February. Draw at 9.45am for the Scramble all welcome.
The next match in the Gaeltacht Alliance is on Saturday 15th February away in Cruit Island and Brian will be in contact with lads on Sunday. New members were recently welcomed to the Club and there is great interest in beginner membership.
This Saturday 8th February the second session of the new golf lessons begins. Gents from 10am-11am, Ladies from 11am-12pm and Gents 12-1pm.
Some members are volunteering to help with these lessons and it’s great to see so much interest at the start of the year.
Our 2020 Golf Membership offers great value our Full Gents is €400, Beginner or Distance is €200 and all other rates for Seniors, Ladies and Juniors are available by emailing info@cloughaneelygolfclub.ie or are on display in the clubhouse.
