The family of the late Patsy Cassidy of Main Street in Ballyshannon would like to sincerely thank all those who sympathised with us on the sad passing of dear Patsy.

Words cannot express our appreciation to all those who attended the wake and funeral, many travelling long distances, sent Mass cards and messages of condolence, your support and kind words at this difficult time will not be forgotten.

To those who brought food, to St Anne’s Church and Donal Kelly for opening their car parks for the wake, Dorrian’s Imperial Hotel, an Garda Siochana, and those who made charitable donations to the Irish Heart Foundation, thank you.

To Fr Cathal O’Fearrai who attended to the prayers at the wake, and was Chief Celebrant in St. Patrick’s at the funeral mass, thank you. To Fr Hugh Hanlon, Fr Dermot Burke, and Fr Anto, co-concelebrants at the funeral mass, the Resurrection choir, and the sacristan Mary, thank you all for giving Dad such a beautiful send off.

Thank you to Patrick Mc Kenna Funeral Director and his associates, for their professional service and support.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Professor Keatings ,the staff in Surgical 1, Letterkenny University Hospital, Dr Brian Mc Colgan, the doctors and nurses in the Bayview Clinic, Ballyshannon and Dr David Mc Sharry, Mater Private Hospital, who cared for Patsy in the last number of years.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Patsy’s Month’s mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday April 5th at 11am. The Mass can be viewed on livestream from Saint Patrick’s, Ballyshannon via webcam. Follow the link https://www.churchservices.tv/stpatricksballyshannon
