Funeral of the late Joe Kelly to be held in hometown of Letterkenny

The funeral of the late businessman Joe Kelly will be held in his hometown of Letterkenny on Monday. 

Mr Kelly is to be repatriated to Donegal this week following his sudden passing in China on 1st November.

Mr Kelly was the Vice President of corporate communications for telecoms giant Huawei.

A native of Letterkenny, Mr Kelly was the son of Frank and Anne Kelly of Wolfe Tone Place.  He is grieved by his wife Una McDevitt (Derry), sons Aidan and Eunan, parents, brothers Michael (Boston), Francis (Belfast), Conal (Letterkenny), sisters Eileen (California) and Brid (Ramelton), nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and wider circle of family and friends.

His remains will arrive in Letterkenny this Sunday 29th November before going to the family home at 7 Wolfe Tone Place on Sunday afternoon.

Funeral mass will be celebrated in St Eunan’s Cathedral at 11am on Monday with burial afterwards in Conwal cemetery.

In compliance with current Government and HSE guidelines, the Wake, Funeral and Interment will be private to family only please.
