Covid-19 outbreak forces club to cancel all activity for a week

A GAA club in Donegal has ceased activity for a week due to a Covid-19 outbreak.

Termon GAA club has confirmed that the outbreak is affecting six of its teams.

All games and training sessions involving the club have now been postponed.

A statement from the Burn Road club said: “In the interest of public health within the locality and wider community, we have taken the decision to cease all club activities for the next week. We will be postponing all games and training.

“We will review the situation and give further advise daily. Public health is our priority.”

Termon were due to face Downings in Division 2 of the All-County Football League on Wednesday evening.
