A driver was arrested outside Buncrana this morning after being caught doing almost double the speed limit.
The motorist was speeding at 193km/hr, which is well in excess of the 100KPH speed limit on the N13.
They were subsequently stopped and arrested by the Buncrana Roads Policing Unit.
“The driver was charged to appear at a future Court sitting,” said a garda spokesperson.
“Please save lives by slowing down.”
