Donegal County Council today paid tribute to the late Margaret and Patrick Devenney from Newtowncunningham.

The beloved father and daughter passed away within hours of eachother last week.

A minute’s silence was observed before the start of today’s Donegal County Council meeting as a mark of respect.

The meeting also adjourned for ten minutes as a mark of respect in a move proposed by Councillor Ciaran Brogan and seconded by Councillor Donal Kelly.
