The LGFA Senior and Intermediate Championships will both take place next Sunday 2nd October in O’Donnell Park.

The Senior final will see Termon and Glenfin meet for the fourth successive year, with reigning champions Glenfin in their ninth final in a row.

The two sides have dominated for the past decade, with only Moville breaking what has been seen as a duopoly in the ladies game.

But they couldn’t repeat their feat from 2016 as Glenfin defeated them by 4-13 to 1-11 at Páirc Taobhoige last weekend, while Termon beat Naomh Conaill by a scoreline of 2-11 to 1-7.

The two teams face off at 2:30pm, with the Intermediate final on beforehand.

That game sees Aodh Ruadh Ballyshannon take on Ardara at 12:30pm.

Aodh Ruadh made the final after an impressive 4-13 to 2-8 win over Naomh Muire, while Ardara came out 1-14 to 1-12 winners after extra time against Gaeil Fhánada.
