Finn Harps extend date on €20,000 annual draw

Finn Harps have changed the date for their stadium draw to the last home game of the Premier Division season.

The draw, which was due to take place this Friday when Finn Harps host Shelbourne, has now been extended to take place at the last home game of the season, when they face UCD on October 28th.

Following recent confirmation of support from Department of Sport, Donegal County Council and FAI the club has emphasised the importance of maximising all fundraisers to complete the project and enable completion by 2024.

Following the success of the Golf fundraiser with Donegal Community in London, everyone associated with the club is focused on ensuring the draw for winning prize of €20,000 is a big success.

Finn Harps Chairman Ian Harkin says “We are delighted with the goodwill the stadium project is receiving from the wider Donegal public, the diaspora and the wider football community.  There is a real sense that that we have an unprecedented opportunity to complete the project and begin a new era for Finn Harps and the sporting future of Donegal.

The new stadium will be designed to offer a great match night experience and the new facilities will be invaluable as we build our women’s teams and expand our community programme.

Once again, I would like to thank everyone who has supported the draw so far and pay tribute to our hard-working volunteers for their fantastic efforts.

Tickets for the draw cost €20 or 3 for €50 and can be purchased from www.finnharps.ie or are available from club members.”
