A man threw a bottle of whiskey through a vacant Garda station causing €400 worth of damage.
Manus Doohan appeared at Falcarragh District Court charged with criminal damage.
Doohan, from Ballyboes, Falcarragh, was not in court.
He was represented by solicitor Patsy Gallagher.
Garda Inspector Paul Gallagher told the court the incident happened on July 1st last year at Main Street in Falcarragh.
He gave evidence of how Doohan walked past the Garda station before throwing the bottle of Jameson whiskey through the window.
Gardai viewed CCTV footage and Doohan was identified carrying out the incident and he later made full admissions.
The court was told that the accused has 27 previous convictions, 20 of which were for public order while another six were for criminal damage.
Judge Éiteáin Cunningham adjourned the case until September 20th next to allow for a probation and welfare report on Doohan.
