The Letterkenny Music and Drama Group scooped two awards from the Association of Irish Musical Societies (AIMS) for their Calendar Girls production at An Grianan Theatre.
The daring, dazzling and heart-wrenching play captivated audiences last November.
On Friday night, the group was rewarded for their bravery with a Special Adjudicators Award from AIMS. The prize was presented to the ‘Naked Ladies of Letterkenny’, acknowledging and praising all the LMDG ladies for baring their bodies and souls and raising money for local charities.
Recipients were Ciara Gallagher, Rachel Akkoç, Mary Lane, Maire McGinley, Mary Harte, Geraldine Galligan, Tina Higgins and Sheila Brown.

Ciara Gallagher won Best Actress for her amazing portrayal of Annie in the play.
The LMDG celebrated their success at a sparkling ceremony in Killarney.
Proceeds from a real calendar, created alongside the play, were donated to Donegal Hospice.
