Donegal competitors had a triumphant day yesterday at the Community Games National finals in Carlow.
Cormac McBride from Fanad secured a Bronze medal in the u8 60m in a closely contested race.
Aaliyah Gallagher, representing Gweedore, earned a silver medal in the u12 long jump.
Niamh Doohan also secured a silver medal in the u12 category.
Roisin Faul competed in the u14 long Puck, Teirnan Kerr was victorious in the u14 long jump category and Eanna Redden performed well in the u12 long Puck.
Deava Diver from Ramelton made an impressive showing in the u10 girls 100m, finishing second and earning a silver medal.
The team was led by Laura Kerr, who served as the Donegal manager for the weekend.
The Co-Chairman Manus O’Donnell and Co-President Sean McGinley praised the competitors and their parents, stating that it was a proud day for Donegal Community Games. They also expressed gratitude towards Laura Kerr for her hard work and dedication over the weekend. Overall, it was a day of outstanding performances by the Donegal competitors, and they can be proud of their accomplishments.
