RTE star Dáithí Ó Sé is showing off some of Donegal’s greatest gems during a jam-packed tour this week.
The presenter has teamed up with his showbiz pal Chef Brian McDermott for a whistlestop tour of the county, from north to south.
The ‘Love Donegal’ tour, supported by Go Visit Donegal, is being shared across Instagram to promote the county as a great destination.
Starting off at Brian McDermott’s homeplace in Moville, Dáithí has so far braved the Inish Adventures water park, made some furry friends at Wild Alpaca Way and admired the residents of Wild Ireland.

The Cooley Pitch N Putt in Moville and Fort Dunree were among the stunning scenic locations he checked out in Inishowen. As the tour continued along the Wild Atlantic Way, Dáithí showed off the views at Dunfanaghy, Dunlewey and Glengesh.
Dáithí’s tour guide Brian is also making sure that his guest is well fed, and their culinary stops have included The Lemon Tree in Letterkenny, Rosato’s in Moville and The Olde Glen Bar.
Dáithí also enjoyed top-class hospitality at Castle Grove Country House outside Letterkenny.
Today’s social media stories show the pair sampling some great Donegal spirits at Crolly Distillery and Ardara Distillery. All the touring has been thirsty work, it seems!
Dáithí’s Donegal adventure takes place ahead of #LoveDonegal Day 2023. This Thursday 14th September is the day when anyone and everyone who has a connection to and an affinity for Donegal will take to their socials to proclaim their love for Donegal.
