Police in Belfast are investigating after the explosion of a pipe bomb in the city late last night.
The explosion took place at Sunnymede Park, Dunmurry in the city at 11:30pm on Friday night. Luckily no one was injured in the blast.
Police say that the partially exploded device was removed from the scene as people in the area were evacuated from their homes, before carrying out a controlled explosion on the device.
They are also looking into a potential connection between the explosion and a car that was found burned out nearby.
