Gardai in Letterkenny want to speak to a young boy who allegedly scraped the side of a car on the town’s Main Street.
The incident happened at 7.30pm on Tuesday, December 12th last.
Gardai say the boy appears to have deliberately caused a large scrape to the passenger side of the car as he passed it.
The boy was with two girls and were walking in the direction of Upper Main Street/Old Courthouse at the time.
A Garda spokesperson said “We appeal to road users who may have dash cam footage from the area around that time to make it available to Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.
“We appeal to the boy in question to come forward. CCTV is being checked from businesses in the area. We would much rather he came to us than the other way around.”
