Donegal brushed aside the test of Armagh in their first Dr McKenna Cup game at MacCumhaill Park before a crowd of almost 4,000 curious spectators.
Despite an easy win of 3-16 to 1-6, a demanding McGuinness felt his side left another sixteen points behind them.
