The Letterkenny Rotary Club Tree of Remembrance project comes to a close for another year with a ‘blessing of the ribbons’ ceremony this weekend.
The Rotary Club Letterkenny is delighted to announce that it has raised an amazing €8,000 through its annual Christmas Tree Appeal.
The appeal, which was held in Letterkenny Shopping Centre, saw people donating ribbons to be placed on the tree in memory of their loved ones. The funds raised will be used to support two local charities, Vincent De Paul and No Barriers Foundation.
The ribbons will be blessed at a service for clergy and parishioners from all Churches on Sunday 21st January at 7pm in Conwal Parish Church, Letterkenny. Everyone is welcome to attend the service to remember their loved ones. Refreshments will be served after the service.
