The Taoiseach has proposed that more Gardaí, health workers and teachers may be assigned to areas with the biggest intake of migrants in the country.

That’s according to a report from the Irish Independent today, which says measures would be focused on the ten locations with the most migrants in the state.

Proposals within Leo Varadkar’s staff reportedly include adding more GPs, teachers and Gardaí to these areas to allay fears over immigration.
