Donegal’s Jodie Loughrey got on the scoresheet as the Ireland women’s U19s secured an important win in their European Championship qualification campaign.
The Ireland U19s came from behind to beat Iceland 4-1 this afternoon.
With the game locked at one goal apiece, Sligo Rovers star Loughrey came good from an Ireland corner to give them the lead and a much-needed momentum boost.
The next matchup for the Ireland U19s comes against Austria this weekend.
