A man has been rushed to hospital after a quad accident in a remote area of Termon last night.

The incident happened around 8.30pm at an area known locally as Barnes.

It is understood a local man in his 30s became trapped under a quad for some time.

Local reports say the man was alone checking on sheep when the incident happened and was found when he did not return home.
