Gardaí have confirmed that another drug driver has been arrested, and that a number of vehicles around the county have been seized as part of their operations this Donegal Rally weekend.
Gardaí from the Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit arrested a driver on suspcion of drug driving earlier today, after they tested positive at a checkpoint.
Another car was seized by Letterkenny Gardaí after it was found to not have any valid tax or NCT.
Elsewhere, two vehicles were seized in Dungloe yesterday after they were found without insurance, tax, or an NCT.
Gardaí are again urging road users this weekend to prioritise their safety and the safety of others.
“Think road safety at all times and never take unnecessary risks on the roads. Do not drive while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” An Garda Síochána Donegal said on social media announcing the most recent arrest and seizures.
