A retired Donegal Garda has been banned for drink-driving.
William Vincent Burke, of Donegal Road, Ballybofey appeared at Dungannon Magistrates Court.
The 65 year old was stopped by the PSNI in Ballygawley on November 1st last and was found to be 61 mcgs per mls of breath over the legal limit of 35mcgs when tested.
Burke pleaded guilty with excess alcohol and was fined £150 (€175) for drink driving.
