The Ryan family of Kilmacrennan are always ready to take on a challenge, and this week they are supporting the 1for1@1 Schools Challenge.
Danny Ryan and his family members Keane, Jordon and Alana were finalists on the popular competition ‘RTE Ireland’s Fittest Family.’
The Ryan Family are asking schools around the county to get involved in the 1for1@1 Schools Challenge which will be officially launched here on Donegal Daily on Monday next May 1st.
The challenge runs until Friday 19th. May and between those dates Relay for Life are asking all schools to get involved by choosing a challenge of their choice, carrying it out at 1 o-clock and when completed each student bringing one euro into the school.
All money raised by Relay for Life this year goes to the extensive research programme for cancer survivors presently underway at Letterkenny University Hospital.
Unfortunately, cancer does affect every family so irrespective of whether your school has 20 pupils or 500 pupils we would love you to get involved because every single euro raised is so important to Relay. The research programme is costing approximately €100,000 so just imagine how important ‘’YOUR EURO’’ is to us.
