Northern drivers fined after failing to pay speeding tickets in Donegal

FIVE motorists from Northern Ireland have been fined in court after failing to pay penalty notices in respect of speeding offences in Donegal.

The offences happened on dates between May 5 2018 and July 26, 2019.

In all cases, fixed charge penalty notices were issued and were unpaid.

Kevin McKeough, with an address in Dundrod, was detected driving a grey Audi A5 at 133km/h in a 100km/h zone at Rossbracken, on July 27, 2019.

Judge Paul Kelly fined McKeough €250 and gave him two months to pay,

Amy Hegarty-McDaid (20) of Amelia Court, Derry was driving a red Audi at a speed of 126km/h in a 100km/h zone at Rossbracken on July 26, 2019

A fine of €200 was issued and Hegarty-McDaid was given a period of two months to pay.

Graham Valentine, with an address in Ballymagorry, Strabane, was stopped in a Citroeon van after being detected traveling at 126km/h in a 100km/h zone at Trimeragh on May 5, 2019.

A fine of €200 was imposed and Valentine given two months to pay.

Ciaran Dalton, with an address in Derry, was detected driving a Ford Focus at a speed of 124km/h in a 100km/h zone. Dalton was fined €200 and given two months to pay.

Alan Reid, with an address in Larne, was caught driving at 121km/h in a 100km/h zone at Rossbracken on July 26, 2019. Reid was fined €250 and give two months to pay.
