A woman has appeared in court charged in connection with handling money which was allegedly from the proceeds of crime.
Saja Elnaim appeared at Letterkenny District Court charged with handling €7,781 at AIB bank in Letterkenny on May 31st, 2019.
Ms Elnaim, aged 24, of Highland Drive, Foxhills, Letterkenny, did not have legal representation.
She was charged under the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Act of 2010.
Judge Deirdre Geragthy appointed solicitor Frank Dorrian to represent the accused.
The case was adjourned until June 28th next.
