A serving member of An Garda Siochána has been charged with drink driving and dangerous driving in Donegal.
John Gibbons (23) Bogagh Road, Carrick, is charged with drink driving at Main Street Donegal Town on March 19, last year.
He is also charged with dangerous driving on the same date and at the same location.
The case was called before Judge Sandra Murphy, in Donegal Town today, with defence solicitor John Anderson asking for an adjournment to April.
Mr Anderson asked for the case to be put back to April 11 to fix a date for hearing.
Donegal State Prosecutor Ciaran Liddy said the State agreed with the request.
