A Letterkenny man has appeared in court charged with a number of sexual related offences at the local Aura Leisure Centre.
Louis Nugent appeared at Letterkenny Circuit Court where he pleaded guilty to four separate charges.
The 66 year old’s address was given as Killyclug in Letterkenny.
Nugent was charged that on November 21st, 2017 that he engaged in an act of masturbation to which he pleaded guilty.
He was also charged with three other counts of engaging in offensive behaviour of a sexual nature, also at the Aura Leisure Centre.
He also pleaded guilty to these offences which took place on November 15th, 21st and 22nd of November, 2017.
Counsel for the State, Ms Patricia McLaughlin said the plea was acceptable on a full facts basis.
Nugent’s barrister, Mr Sean Magee, said a number of victims in the case would have to be canvassed for victim impact statements.
He said these may be available next week.
Judge John Aylmer adjourned the case for mention until next Tuesday for final sentencing and remanded Nugent in custody.
