Temperatures are set to plummet for the next week according to Met Éireann.
They’ve issued a weather advisory that covers the entire country, as a week full of frost and freezing overnight temperatures awaits.
Met Éireann are warning of a risk of sharp/severe frost, icy patches and dense fog at times leading to hazardous and dangerous travelling conditions.
The Met Éireann forecast for Ulster tonight will see temperatures dip anywhere between 0 and -3 degrees celsius, with widespread frost and some ice also.
During the day tomorrow, Sunday, temperatures will range between 3 and 6 degrees before plunging again overnight on Sunday night, with fog, frost and ice patches predicted and temperatures again expected to be between 0 and -3 degrees.
Provisional forecasts for next week show that overnight temperatures could dip as low as -5 on Monday night however, with the rest of the week expected to be similarly chilly.
