Met Éireann say that today will end up being a mostly damp one – despite a brighter start.
While there will be a few bright spells to start the day in the west, cloud will set in and dominate the majority of today.
There will also be spells of rain and drizzle, with patchy mist and hill fog also.
Met Eireann say that coastal flooding may also be possible in some areas due to unusually high tides.
Highest temperatures between 7 and 9 degrees today.
Tonight will see more of the same, with spells of rain at times, and temperatures staying between 3 and 6 degrees celsius.
