Police in Omagh have issued an appeal to contact a group of men who stopped to assist at the scene of a tragic collision last month.
The men, believed to be en route from Dungannon to Donegal, were travelling in a white van when they stopped at a collision on A5 Curr Road, Beragh, Omagh on the evening of Tuesday 5th March.
Sadly, 30 year old Caolan Devlin lost his life when his white BMW 320 was involved in a collision with a Scania lorry.
“A white van, with males occupants is believed to have been travelling to Donegal after working in the Dungannon area. It is understood they stopped and provided assistance at the scene and may have information that may assist in the investigation,” said an appeal from PSNI Mid Ulster.
“Officers would appeal for the witnesses to contact them at the Collision Investigation Unit at Sprucefield on 101, quoting reference number 1675 05/03/24.”
