Donegal fighter Joseph Duffy has won his second UFC bout in impressive style.
The Burtonport man dealt with Ivan Jorge without really breaking a sweat on the way up the lightweight ladder.
It took Duffy just 3.05 of the first round to record his second win.
When Jorge (26-5 MMA, 2-2 UFC) tried to escape a barrage of punches, he slid right into a triangle expertly applied by Duffy (14-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC).
The lightweight bout was part of the main card of today’s UFC Fight Night 72 event at SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
It was also broadcast on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
Joe started his UFC career back in February with a decision over Josh Shockley..
Duffy, famously known as the last man to beat Conor McGregor, showed again why he’s one to watch, catching Jorge several times with a knee disguised as a kick.
Punch combinations found their mark as h bobbed and weaved, dodging Jorge’s attempts at a retort.
