A Donegal man who literally went to great ‘height’s to get the perfect ‘selfie’ has seen his image go viral!
Darren Kelly, from Manor, is a student at NUI Galway.
He and his friends had enjoyed yet another epic night as part of their RAG week celebrations.
Huge crowds had descended on Galway for the annual ‘Donegal Tuesday’ celebrations – with many staying on to party for the remainder of the week.
However, when the gang went to get some well-earned grub in Supermacs – Darren spotted an opportunity to get the perfect ‘selfie’ which captured the RAG week chaos.
So after convincing his friends to help him climb onto a pole, Darren showed tremendous climbing skills to ascend up the pole to capture the cracking ‘selfie’ – much to the delight of the watching crowd.
However, not everybody was impressed, according to friends who sent this image – Darren got a telling off from some Gardaí who were attempting to patrol the area!
