John Murphy back in winners enclosure as competition returns at Cloughaneely

CLOUGHANEELY Golf Club has welcomed the return of competition golf in Phase 3 as part of the Government’s roadmap for the easing of Covid-19 restrictions. 

Visitors, guests and members can now enjoy unlimited golf and enjoy the excellent playing surfaces, lush fairways and excellent greens.

Tuesday 30th June 9 Hole Results: Cat1 David Hone (9) 21 points; Cat 2 Sean McGeady (19) 23 points; Cat 3 John Murphy (26) 21 points.

It is great to see John back in the winner’s enclosure rumour has it he is pushing hard for his minor league spot after this strong performance.

In July, Cloughaneely Golf Club have a 9 Hole Competition every Tuesday and Friday with re-entry allowed for both members and visitors.

The club will run an 18 Hole Singles Stableford Competition, open to Ladies and Gents to anyone with a GUI or ILGU card every weekend in July 2020.

Entry for Visitors is €15pp at weekends with good timesheet availability and most all – great greens to enjoy!
