YOUNG emerging star Cliodhna Patton was the winner of the Letterkenny Ladies Golf Club Competition on July 9.

The competition was sponsored by Evelyn O’Malley and Mary Gallagher.

Cliodhna is another promising junior at Letterkenny Golf Club and this was her first win in a ladies competition.

Cliodhna shot 35 points to take the win, ahead of the runner-up Catherine Cooke-Harkin.

Cliodhna has an excellent golfing pedigree, dad Seamus and brother Jack are both Category 1 players.

“It looks like these guys will have to share the limelight as I expect to be reporting many more winning scores from Cliodhna over the remainder of the season and in the years ahead,” says Letterkenny ladies PRO Pauline Curley.
