A fog warning has been issued by Met Éireann as a week of colder weather is ahead.
The warning is set to come into effect from 6pm tonight, and will last until 10am on Monday morning.
Motorists have been warned of lowered visibility on the roads tonight and tomorrow morning, when many will be returning to work and school after the Christmas break.
Frost and icy patches on the roads are also expected, with temperatures set to dip from between 2 and 6 degrees during the day today, to as low as -2 overnight tonight.
