The North West is bracing for another cold snap as a cool weather front has landed.
Met Éireann have already issued a weather warning for ice and snow today in Donegal, as wintry conditions are anticipated.
The national forecaster says that today will predominantly be wet, cold and blustery in Ulster, with sleet and snow expected to spread from the South during this morning and throughout the day.
Highest temperatures will be between 2 and 5 degrees today.
Snow accumulations are expected particularly on higher ground, with road users also being warned of treacherous road conditions.
Rain and sleet will continue tonight, with frost and ice also expected and temperatures dipping to between 0 and 3 degrees overnight tonight.
