Golf – Darragh McGowan runs away with the hamper at B&S

Darragh McGowan ran away with the Hamper with a massive 41 points and playing off a 3 handicap it was quite an achievement at Ballybofey and Stranorlar Golf Club.

The Halloween Hamper competition was played over Saturday and Sunday, sponsored by Ann Sweeney, Colette Callaghan and Moira McGee.

In secnd place with 32 points was Deirdre Kelly and in third place was Mae Ferry with 31 points bot.

Day 1 was won by Eileen Reilly and Kathleen McGowan captured the Day 2 prize.

The 9 hole Hamper comp was won by Florence Connolly and the runner up was Aideen Morrison.

The 5 hole Hamper comp was won by Ann Fairman, runner up Renee Gouldie.

The 5 hole comp. with the same format will begin again this week and will run for 6 weeks.

The Captain’s (Club) outing will take place on Saturday the 4th November to Rosapenna.
