Paul Gallagher takes advantage of weather at Otway Golf Club

Members were blessed with favourable weather conditions last Saturday at Otway Golf Club as they battled it out in the annual Easter Hamper competition.

One member to take full advantage of good scoring conditions was Paul Gallagher who returned a winning score of 45 points, three ahead of second placed Francie McFadden, with the gross going to Paul Murray and Odhran Patton claiming third spot.

The 9’s went to Gerry Gallagher and Paddy McNulty, with Dara Patton getting the longest drive prize, and Paul Murray getting the members bounce to claim nearest the pin.

With the rest of the field coming out with the usual hard luck stories, members will have another opportunity to test their skills in competitive action next Sunday the 8th, when the prize up for grabs will be the Otway cup winner title, the first stroke event of 2018.
