The Royal & Prior Champagne Golf Scramble was held at Ballybofey & Stranorlar Golf Club on Friday.

The Royal & Prior Past Pupils Association commenced over 50 years ago in 1966.

The Association exists to provide a link to past pupils and members who are located worldwide.

Currently there are over 420 members and new members are welcome to join at any time.

There are annual events organised which allow members to get together such as a Carol Service, Table Quiz, Country Walks and The Golf Competition.

An annual “News Magazine” is published and distributed to all members which keeps members informed of local activities and members achievements.

This requires quite a financial sum to publish and we wish to thank the Ballybofey & Stranorlar Golf Club for allowing the Association to host this year’s Golf Scramble on their course.

The course was in immaculate condition, the hospitality in the Club House was excellent and the sun shone on the golfers all day.

Twenty -five teams played, and the association wish to thank the sponsors who made the competition possible and all golfers who supported the event, especially the members of the B&SGC.

The winning team were from Letterkenny, Eamon McGlinchey, Derek Wilson, Tony Duffy & Chris Nee.
