A stunning prize of a round of golf for four at Ballyliffin Golf Club, the home of the 2018 Irish Open, and an overnight stay is on offer at Ciaran Coll’s Testimonial Golf Classic.

The Ciaran Coll Testimonial Golf Classic takes place on Friday next, September 28, at Ballybofey and Stranorlar Golf Club.

You could follow in the footsteps of Rory McIlroy and company by teeing off at the picturesque Ballyliffin.

An overnight stay at the Strand Hotel, Ballyliffin is on offer as part of the winning prize.

The Ciaran Coll Testimonial Committee have partnered with the Community Inclusion Hub, who will receive proceeds.

DCITS provide practical training opportunities to empower service users to live and work in the community, to access local services and facilities, and to contribute to community life and community associations.

Other top prizes are on offer in the Classic, organised to honour Harps star Coll, as he celebrates ten years at Harps.

In that time, the 27-year-old St Johnston man has gone to 12th in the list of all-time appearances at the Ballybofey club, since making his debut in 2009.

A timesheet is in operation for Friday’s Classic and entries can be made by contacting Ballybofey & Stranorlar Golf Club on 074-9131093. Entries cost €100 and will include a food voucher for players.

Joey O’Leary, of the Finn Harps Testimonial Committee, said: “On behalf of the Ciaran Coll Testimonial Committee and everyone connected, past and present, to Finn Harps FC, we are delighted to help Ciaran celebrate his Testimonial year with a Golf Classic and a Gala Dinner Dance, which will be on November 10, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Letterkenny.

“We would encourage the Finn Harps family to come out and support the events to show our appreciation of Ciaran’s commitment to the club.

“We are very fortunate and thankful to have been given some top prizes and we thank all our sponsors and people who have supported us so far.”
